We want the Commons to be a home for research as well as tools. That could mean understanding how people move around the city, studying access to services, or exploring a new idea in technology.
Independent researchers, students, and community members are welcome. Bring a question and a plan. We’ll discuss how we might work on it together.

When work is ready to share, you’ll find it here with its authors, date, and a link to read it. Drafts and published papers will be clearly labelled.

You don’t need a finished paper. Give us enough detail to understand the idea and how you want to explore it.
Submitting starts a conversation. It doesn’t guarantee funding, acceptance, or publication under the Commons name. We’ll agree on authorship and sharing before any work goes public.
